Regional Sales Executive

MGC FREIGHT is a third-party freight logistics company; we handle all ground transportation, warehousing, cross-border and National shipping throughout North America.
**Location**: Remote, Hybrid and In Office
**Office hours**: Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm
Roles Available: Part time and Full time
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Interacting with shippers to understand their transportation needs, negotiate rates, and coordinate logistics. This involves building and maintaining relationships with clients, providing them with updates, and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the shipping process.
- Managing and organizing the necessary documentation for each shipment, such as bills of lading, shipping labels, customs forms, and insurance certificates. Ensuring that all paperwork is accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Freight Tracking: Monitoring the progress of shipments and providing regular updates to clients and Dispatch. This involves tracking the movement of goods, resolving any delays or issues that may occur, and maintaining communication throughout the transportation process.
- Resolving logístical challenges, such as rerouting shipments in case of disruptions or finding alternative solutions to meet clients' specific requirements.
- Search and prospect potential customers through MGC FREIGHT database
- Reach out to customer leads through qualified active leads provided from MGC FREIGHT
- Achieve sales goals and meet KPIs.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
**Requirements & Qualifications**:
- 1-3 years’ industry experience required
- Previous book of business preferred
- Reliable and on-time
- Comfortable to make cold calls.
- Ability to solicit new business.
- College or University Degree required if no experience
- Good communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Interest in Business Management
- Full sales cycle development
- Use of CRM
- CIFFA certification preferred.
