Also responsible for developing the business side of the organization; identify sales leads, pitch goods and services to new clients, and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts while communicating new product developments to prospective clients.

**Essential Functions Statement(s)**
- Focused on creating a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievement for the region
- Defines the go-to-market strategy for both sales and after sales for the Central Canada region, and directs the day-to-day activities of the region’s staff in accordance with this strategy
- Directly leads the account management efforts with key OEM and Municipal Representative accounts in the region
- Hires new resources as appropriate and manages the performance of the team
- Directs and supports calls on end-user customers, engineering firms and OEMs who specify/purchase our equipment and effectively influence their purchasing specifications to include Aerzen products.
- Leads the team to effectively manage relationship with key customer accounts, understands the landscape within each key account, the decisions makers, and how decisions are made.
- Prepares sales projections, forecasts, strategies, reports as required
- Develops, manages and reports on the budget for the regional office
- Identifies and works with marketing to deliver marketing plans as required and supports preparations for regional trade shows
- Oversees the support for the order processing effort and effectively supports customer follow-up activities throughout the order execution process
- Interacts professionally with the Aerzen Canada Department Leads Team to develop, revise, and implement process improvements with respect to sales processes, order execution, and after sales and service opportunities
- Actively participates in key global account management plans and supports the global Aerzen group on opportunities with key accounts that have a presence in the region
- Work with staff to define and deliver training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company new product sales and after sales objectives
- Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions
- Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships at a high level in customer organizations
- Responsible for the daily administration of the office; works closely with Aerzen controlling to provide accurate financial details for reporting
- Instigate and assist with steps necessary for new business startup
- Responsible for timecards, expenses, PTO, and other approvals.
- Ensure proper inventory control procedures are developed and deployed
- Manage facility / personnel compliance with relevant OSHA and company standards for HSE
- Work with customers to provide relevant safety / business information that will allow us to engage in business activities (aka fill out vendor packets and questionnaires)
