Who You Are
The Role
**Responsibilities**:
- Provides Human Resources business support to Support Centre and Stores.
- Provides leadership to 2 direct reports.
- Provide guidance and support to HRBPs in delivering strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
- Serve as a point of contact for escalated employee relations matters, conducting investigations and implementing resolution strategies.
- Oversee health and safety programs for retail stores, logistics and supply chain department, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with HRBPs to implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Address performance issues and work with HRBPs to develop improvement strategies.
- Identify training needs for retail employees and collaborate with HRBPs and Learning and development team to design and deliver effective learning programs.
- Support HRBPs in the implementation of career development initiatives.
- Stay informed about employment laws and regulations, ensuring policies and practices remain compliant.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures to meet the business needs.
- Foster collaboration and communication across retail units to ensure consistency in HR practices.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices among HRBPs.

Education, Experience and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (CHRP) is a plus.
- 4-5 years of experience in human resources with some management experience. Retail multi-unit management experience is an asset.
- Strong understanding of employment laws (ESA), health and safety regulations, and retail HR best practices.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing a team of HR professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
