**Position**: Human Resources Business Partner
**Location**: Calgary Office, Hybrid (3 days in office per week)
**Type**: Temporary 14 Month Contract
**Reports To**: Director, Human Resources

**Key Accountabilities Include**:

- Leads and supports human resources programs and practices that foster growth and organizational effectiveness aligned with business strategies including, talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, learning and development, and performance management.
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment including partnering with leaders to proactively identify resourcing needs within the client groups.
- Guides and supports leaders in solving employee relations issues through feedback, development and coaching, and problem solving.
- Provides guidance with respect to government regulatory requirements within the workplace, requiring current knowledge of employment legislation, human rights, and other applicable legislation.
- Participates in the continual development of HR programs, such as, recruiting best practices, retention, compensation, and development.
- Partners with leaders to review, develop, and implement effective HR policies and practices that will support the strategic growth of a business.
- Collaborates with learning and development to work on value-added programs in areas of training, development, career mobility, and job performance.
- Assesses Engagement Survey results with leaders to determine key focus areas for departmental action plans for improvement.
- Proactively analyzes data and trends to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Champions and accelerates a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree (post-secondary graduate) in Business, Human Resources or related program.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within a Human Resource department is required, of which 3 years must be within an HRBP role.
- Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially talent acquisition, employee relations, and organization development.
- Proficiency with digital tools and software such Dayforce HCM.
