**Job Overview**

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support for company executives by handling various clerical tasks such as telephone reception, data entry, file management, document preparation, and other general office tasks as directed.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Handling incoming calls, greeting clients and visitors as required
- File management (Create/Open/Close)
- Invoice & Report Preparation
- Payroll preparation (enter timecards/calculate piece work/commissions/stat holidays/vacations)
- Document & file maintenance.
- Performing general office duties as required for management ie. Document & form creation.
- Maintaining supply inventory and office equipment as need
- Assist with accounts receivable & collections.
- Assist with Fleet management/purchasing & Human Resources
- Other duties as directed.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience as an office assistant in the Construction industry is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with JHS
- Strong communications skills, both across internal departments and externally with Customers
- Ability to Identify, communicate and help resolve unforeseen conditions/situations that may be presented
- Able to work well with limited supervision and in a team environment.
- Good use of English (reading, writing and speaking)
- Ability to use good judgement and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with Sage 50 platform a plus.

This position is a full-time in-office position. Remuneration based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
