**Who You Are**

We're looking for a Talent (HR) Coordinator to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Talent (HR) department, ensuring efficient Talent processes and providing administrative support. They play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and other Talent initiatives.

You are a motivated self-starter, proactive, and resourceful with a passion for learning the Human Resources discipline.

**What You'll Do**:
Recruitment Support:

- Assist in recruitment needs through Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Conduct background screenings
- Help with new employee onboarding and orientation.

Employee Records Management:

- Maintain and update employee records, both physical and digital.
- Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality of HR documents.
- Prepare and process HR-related paperwork (e.g., employment contracts, offer letters, and change requests).

HR Administration and Coordination:

- Handle general HR administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, document management, templates and organization.
- Manage HR-related communications, both internally and externally
- Maintain HR databases and systems (HRIS).
- Coordination of programs such as internship and summer student program, orientations and events.

Compliance and Policy Adherence:

- Assist in ensuring the organization's compliance with labor laws and HR policies.
- Contribute to policy development and communication to employees.
- Support HR audits and reporting requirements.

Employee Relations:

- Address basic employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR personnel.
- Assist in employee engagement and recognition activities and events.
- Maintain employee recognition and rewards programs.

Benefits Administration:

- Provide support in administering employee benefits programs.
- Assist employees with benefits-related inquiries.
- Support benefits enrollment and changes.

Training and Development:

- Coordinate employee training programs and track attendance.
- Assist in organizing professional development opportunities.

HR Reporting:

- Generate and maintain HR-related reports and data.
- Contribute to data analysis and insights for HR decision-making.

**What You'll Bring**:

- Diploma or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 2-5 years of HR experience.
- Basic knowledge of both Canadian and USA employment laws and HR practices.
- Familiarity with HRIS such as UKG is a plus.
