**About this opportunity**

Manager, Total Rewards manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis. Manages benefits and retirement planning and programs, including annual renewals and design.

**Operational Oversight**
- Responsible for overseeing the design, market competitiveness and effectiveness of Compensation, Incentives, Benefits, and Retirement programs and initiatives.
- Manages the annual year-end and off-cycle compensation process by providing guidance across divisions for administering and communicating salary reviews, STIP, and Sales Incentive payments
- Leads and supports the effective operation of the company’s benefits and retirement programs; partners with external providers to ensure oversight, planning, analysis, funding, and reporting of programs.
- Leads the development of the Total Rewards communication and education plans to increase awareness and engagement in programs and initiatives across the company.
- Support employee understanding of programs and processes with appropriate communication strategies and material, developed in partnership with others.
- Ensures management of all programs and initiatives are administered in alignment with legislation and internal guidelines
- Partners with the business to build organization capabilities; support plans and strategies to attract, develop and retain a diverse, qualified, and engaged workforce to fulfill current and future needs
- Stays current on market practices and trends to identify and explore opportunities to continuously evolve programs that maintain market competitiveness.
- Ensures the Total Rewards priorities and efforts are client-centric and aligned to the execution of the business and people strategy

**Stakeholder & Vendor Management**
- Develops and maintains collaborative internal and external relationships
- Provides HR and business leaders with advice, guidance, and intelligence on current compensation, benefits and pension issues, operations, and industry trends
- Partners with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Communications, and Senior Leadership as applicable
- Partners with vendors to design and deliver innovative programs and resources in support of the total rewards strategy.
- Oversees relationships with vendors and external consultants (includes contract & rate negotiation, delivery against service level agreements).
- Provide support on acquisition due diligence including review of various programs, key talent retention plans, compensation, retirement and benefit plan cost comparison and integration planning

**Performance and People Management**
- Provides coaching and performance management to the team.
- Supports in identifying opportunities for team members to build knowledge and skills.
- Determines resourcing needs and oversees resourcing decisions to ensure team capabilities and capacity to meet business needs.

**HR Programs and Services Collaboration**
- Drive continuous improvement of payroll services and shared services to ensure processes are efficient and streamlined
- Support ongoing quality delivery of payroll and human capital management system administration ensuring a consistent employee experience and effective reporting,
- Support planning, design, development, testing, implementation, upgrading, and support of new or updated Payroll and Human Resources Information System
- Identifies opportunities to deliver streamlined and efficient processes through technology enablement

**What you will need to be successful**
- Progressive experience (5+years) in Total Rewards and HR program management
- Post-secondary education is required, preferably a business degree
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues within a high-growth environment
- Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, written and verbal communication and analytical skills
