Technical Salesperson

**Poliform Toronto**, a leading luxury furniture and interior design company, is seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Salesperson to join our dynamic team.
The hiring of this individual will coincide with the opening of our 7500 sqft. Flagship showroom on King Street East.
As a Technical Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our high-end furniture and interior design solutions.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for design & a strong technical background.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Product Knowledge**:Become an expert in Poliform's product offerings, including furniture, kitchen systems, wardrobes, and interior design solutions. Understand the technical aspects and design features to effectively communicate the benefits to potential clients.
- **Client Engagement**: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients, including interior designers, architects, and individual customers. Assist clients in identifying their needs and guide them in selecting the most suitable Poliform products.
- **Sales and Revenue Generation**: Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively presenting Poliform products, demonstrating their value, and closing sales. Generate and follow up on leads to expand the customer base.
- **Technical Expertise**: Provide technical guidance and support to clients, helping them make informed decisions based on their design requirements and space constraints.
- **Site Work**: Visit job sites both for preliminary dimensions and during final installation to insure all goes well.
- **Design Consultation**:Offer design consultation services, including space planning, material selection, and customization options, to create unique and tailored solutions for clients.
- **Showroom Management**:Maintain the showroom's appearance and functionality, ensuring that it accurately represents Poliform's design philosophy and quality standards.
- **Administration**:Manage sales records, quotes, orders, and customer communication effectively. Use CRM software to track customer interactions and progress.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the luxury furniture or interior design industry.
- Strong knowledge of furniture design and technical aspects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-motivated
- Proficiency in Autocad. Additional design softwares are an asset.
**Terms of employment**:
Full time position
**Compensation: $42,000+ commission-based incentive**
