**Summary**

The role of a Parts coordinator is to efficiently process and manage vehicle parts for the collision facility. Parts are a main artery of a collision facility, which is an integral part of the operation and performance. The parts coordinator must have a sense of urgency and an attention to detail. The parts coordinator assists with parts from start to finish.

**Primary Responsibilities of the Role**
- Read damaged vehicle estimate to determine the required parts for each job
- Assist Estimator with parts sourcing for claims.
- Order parts using a variety of third party platforms
- Maintain positive relationships with preferred vendors
- Receive parts in the management system from numerous different vendors
- Check parts for visible damage
- Ensure received part matches the ordered part (mirror match)
- Receive invoices into the management system and record price part changes, part number changes, etc
- Process part returns and credits
- Maintain records of all current parts inventory
- Work closely with the repair planner to order supplement parts while the vehicle is on-site
- Organize parts and track for easy location, store parts safely to avoid loss or damage. Label with RO Information.
- If parts order is not 100% fulfilled - work with estimator and other team members to get updated ETAS daily on items
- Provide detailed updates on parts orders and ETAS to estimator, techs and production staff.
- Stage parts for vehicles that are going into production, ensure techs have everything required.
- Process returns for parts with vendor and track credits.
- Keep the parts department neat and organized, ensuring the receiving area is free for deliveries.
- Practice health and safety guidelines when moving heavy items, and using ladders, or other equipment.

**Job Related Technical Knowledge**:

- Experience in ordering and receiving is an asset
- Experience in the Automotive Industry is an asset
- I CAR training/certification is an asset
- Knowledge of Automotive Management Systems is an asset

**Qualifications and other requirements**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid ‘G’ Class Driver’s license
- Computer literate with proficiency using basic programs such as Microsoft programs and Google
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

- Ability to deal with difficult customer situations and maintain composure under pressure

**Schedule**:

- Monday - Thursday 8AM - 5PM
- Fridays 8AM-4PM
- Flexible Schedule options are available
