Line Cook

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced line cooks to join our team in Ontario. As a line cook, you will have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the success of our establishment. We have both part-time and full-time positions available to accommodate various schedules.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare a variety of menu items according to established recipes and sous chef's instructions.
- Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of dishes are maintained consistently.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate the timing of dishes and assist other cooks when necessary.
- Operate kitchen equipment proficiently and maintain cleanliness in your work area.
- Follow portioning guidelines and control food waste to maximize efficiency.
- Assist in the development of new recipes and specials, showcasing your creativity and culinary skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook in a professional kitchen would be preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques for various cuisines and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives.
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with other kitchen staff.
- Flexibility with schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
