An Accounts Payable and Payroll Clerk should possess the following:

- Language(s): English (bilingual an asset).
- Have a secondary level education in accounting/payroll and/or significant (3+years) direct experience.
- ADP payroll experience
- Quickbooks experience
- Microsoft excel experience

**Responsibilities**:
**Payroll and Benefits**
- Process payroll transactions for our Canadian and US teams accurately and in a timely manner, including new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information.
- Calculate wages, deductions, overtime, and commissions based on employee timesheets, contracts, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws, including withholding requirements, wage garnishments, and benefits deductions.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax forms, and summaries for management review.
- Reconcile payroll transactions, resolve discrepancies, and investigate and correct errors as needed.
- Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, including questions about wages, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Enter benefit enrollment forms.

**Accounts Payable**
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval.
- Post high volume of AP invoices accurately and on a timely basis.
- Ensure invoices match purchase orders, review/resolve any issues with purchasing department or project manager.
- Prepare & select invoices for payment processing.
- Reconcile vendor statements on monthly basis.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.
- Assist the Finance team with day to day entries, monthly and year end reporting, and operational requirements.
