**Operations Administrator, Corporate Office, Halifax, NS**

**6-month Term (March - August)**

Killam Apartment REIT (TSX:KMP.UN), is a growth-oriented real estate investment trust which owns, manages and develops multi-family residential properties in Atlantic Canada, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. Killam is focused on maximizing its value and long-term profitability through increasing earnings, expanding the portfolio through acquisitions, and developing high-quality properties in its core markets.

We are currently searching for an experienced, professional and customer focused **Operations Administrator** to support our operations team at our Corporate Office in Halifax, NS for a six-month term.

**What you will do**:

- KPI related reporting, variance, and compliance
- Contract administration including tendering and document management
- Provide process training, paired with process documentation
- Issue purchase orders and verify invoices
- Design and maintain spreadsheets and databases for confidential information
- Assist with departmental capital budget updating and analysis
- File updating and management
- Assist in the planning and presentations of maintenance summit events
- Schedule departmental meetings and record minutes
- Other duties may be assigned

**Who you are**:

- Strong administrative training and background, with over 2 years’ experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office tools
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
- Ability to multi-task effectively, working in a fast-paced environment
- Keen focus on internal and external client satisfaction and process improvement
- Prior property management experience would be considered an asset
- Knowledge of Yardi would be considered an asset or a similar capital processing system
