Reporting to the Senior Director - Human Resources, jump onboard and join us as a key member of our management team as the Human Resources Director. Within this role, you will focus on leading and delivering authentic service and excellence in talent, culture, and leadership to support our fast growth and ambitious business goals. You will drive the achievement of strategic objectives through a people perspective, serving as an advocate, catalyst and champion of our HR global approach. In addition to your proven experience in general HR support and management, you are a great communicator, well versed in negotiation and a culture driver. You embrace change and are known for your ability to influence others and build innovative teams. As the human resources leader, you will be a key partner to our British Columbia senior leaders and have the opportunity to build an HR strategy and see it come to life.

**What You Will Do**
- Partner with Regional leadership to build and support the execution of the strategic plan and accompany the organization through its rapid growth and various HR priorities.
- Be accountable for the entire British Columbia HR function, managing a local team, leading workforce planning, recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, talent management and development.
- Accompany us with the growth and implementation of our British Columbia business units.
- Effectively handle highly sensitive and confidential employee/labor relation issues arising within the company including workplace investigations, grievances, discipline, performance matters and general employee relations within both a union and nonunion setting.
- Oversee and facilitate the implementation of HR policies, programs & processes, and the creation of communication timelines, messaging and assets for employee-facing projects.
- Play a key role in the promotion of a safety-first mindset across the organization.
- Be a culture ambassador and help us continue to grow employee engagement.

**This role could be for you if you have**
- A post-secondary degree and/or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial or labor relations or any other related discipline, combined with 10 to 15 years of progressive HR management experience and business partnering experience.
- Certified Human Resources Professional (CRHP) or Certified Industrial Relations Counsellor (CIRC) is preferred.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in all areas of Canadian employment laws.
- Experience driving people-based initiatives and proven track record of full-cycle recruitment success.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple leaders, providing effective guidance and challenge where appropriate.
- Excellent organizational skills and can handle complex deliverables while addressing urgent issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to travel throughout British Columbia.
