**About the People & Culture Generalist role**
Float is looking for an outstanding People & Culture Generalist to join our People Team, reporting into Float's Head of People. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact bespoke People initiatives and projects in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, non-traditional environment. This is a true generalist role where you will work on nearly every aspect of the employee lifecycle at Float. **In this role, you'll be responsible for**:
- **Talent Acquisition**:
- **Program Development & Roll-out**:
- supporting our Head of People to develop, launch and iterate on People programs and initiatives such as, but not limited to, performance & development, employee engagement, total rewards and learning & development.
- **Supporting our People Leaders**:
- acting as a coach & partner to our Float People Leaders. Providing guidance on people-related questions, such as performance management & coaching, employee relations, compensation and employee development.
- **Supporting Floaters** - serving as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries, employee questions, general guidance across the organization, as well as educating Floaters on new People programs, initiatives and processes as they arise.
- **Employee Events & Communications** - organizing company events, virtual and in person (team events, socials, company events, all hands), writing employee communications and creating presentations.
- **Managing Total Rewards** - day to day administration of all aspects of total rewards (payroll, benefits administration, compensation, equity etc).
- **Data, Systems and Reporting** - ensuring all People related systems, data and reporting are up to date and accurate.
- **Compliance** - maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the People function and ensure our guidelines, policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
- **Special Projects & more** - as required.
**Requirements**:
**You'll be great in this role if**:
- **You've got the experience**. You're a high performing People professional with 5+ years of end-to-end HR/People experience in a high growth startup environment. You've been a part of building amazing People programs and scaling a company and want to build again. You have employee relations experience and experience supporting employees at all levels of an organization.
