**What are we looking for?**

**Some key responsibilities include**:

- Overseeing new hire onboarding initiatives, including preparing new-hire packages, assisting hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Lead in the development of onboarding plans/schedules, and supporting the development of innovative programs to support a high-calibre orientation experience.
- Assisting in the coordination of performance management cycles to support a continuous feedback model.
- Managing the use of our HRIS (Bamboo HR) to support efficiencies across People + Culture initiatives and acting as point of contact for inquiries related to the system.
- Completing annual People + Culture policy reviews, through the lens of both compliance and clarity on our intention, and drafting new policies as required.
- Identifying, investigating, and responding to compliance issues. Responding to related inquiries, audits and ensuring our policies and practices align with all required governmental standards.
- Acting as a back-up for benefits administration (enrolment, change forms, etc.) and acting as a point of contact for all group benefits plans and any health and wellness related inquiries.
- Acting as a back-up for full-cycle payroll processing.
- Keeping a pulse on the most innovative People + Culture practices, with the goal of contributing to a progressive and employee-centered studio.
- Working closely with the Director of People + Culture to champion and/or participate in strategic HR initiatives and special projects.
- You have:_
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary education in Human Resources Management and CHRP designation of in progress.
- 3+ years of experience as an HR/People + Culture Generalist, preferably within a professional services firm.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) that fosters trust and enhance positive working relationships.
- Resilience in times of uncertainty or stress and the ability to work well under pressure.

- Strategically minded and take initiative proactively with the goal of improving practices and creating clear, efficient, and effective People + Culture practices.
- Knowledgeable in all spheres of People + Culture function areas, including but not limited to, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, performance management, training and development, compensation planning, HR metric analysis, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Described as having a growth mindset, with strong self-awareness and a natural curiosity that leads to discovery of innovative ways of approaching your work.
- Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in technology generally with an ability to learn new software/platforms quickly (Microsoft Suite including proficiency in excel - ability to do pivot tables, conditional formatting, etc.).
