The Crescent Hotels and Resorts Corporate team is looking for a People & Culture Generalist (P&CG) to join their remote workforce. Reporting to the Vice President People & Culture, Canada, the P&CG delivers both strategic and administrative support to a wide group of properties across Canada. This role provides the P&CG an opportunity to have real impact on the business in shaping the associate experiences as they handle associate inquiries, leadership requests, providing technical, transactional, and communication support, and identifying and escalating complex employee relations issues to Vice President People & Culture as needed.

- You’re excellent at identifying and articulating problems and influencing decision-makers
- You’re highly organized, self-motivated, customer-oriented and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment, and with internal business partners at all levels of the organization
- You love to develop and analyze HR metrics to identify business opportunities working with the HR team to implement solutions
- Ready to support the deployment, administration and sustainment of new and existing P&C policies and programs
- Provide support to all property and corporate associates to ensure that concerns and questions are heard, understood, and responded to in a professional, efficient manner.
- Support in the development, execution, and rollout of projects and programs such as performance management, engagement, etc.
- Develop, participate, and communicate employee engagement initiatives and organize company social responsibility activities.
- Provide administrative support, data analysis, and reporting to the Vice President of People & Culture
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity through all courses of actions.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal and provincial requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills and Abilities**
- CHRP/CHRL completed or in progress preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a People & Culture/HR Generalist or in a similar role within HR preferably within hospitality
- Strong knowledge & experience in benefits, compliance, employment law, employee/labor relations, recruitment and learning and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong desire to continuously improve and help others improve
- Ability to travel within North America (up to 20%)
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
