**Finance **Intern Co-Op at Masco **Canada **(St Thomas ON office)

Reporting to the Assistant Controller_,_ you will join a dynamic team which will help mold your financial acumen.

**What You Will Bring**
- Registered as part of the co-op program at an Ontario accredited University preferably in the final year/s.
- Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated project and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High degree of initiative and motivation and willingness to work proactively, either independently or within a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, & MS PowerPoint.
- Computer savvy, able to quickly learn to use our internal software and tools.

**What You Will Do**:
**Product Costing**:

- Provide support to ensure product costs in our ERP system are reliable and up to date.
- Work with cross functional teams to complete process mapping of the costing process.
- Prepare and communicate monthly cost reports.

**Month End Reporting**:

- Provide support and assist the Finance Team with month-end closing duties.
- Support finance team with execution of various projects.

**Process Improvement**:

- Assist with the development and launch of a new reporting tool to simplify and automate financial reporting.
- Help develop and improve the balance sheet reconciliation processes.
- Help develop and improve processes to communicate monthly spend to cross functional departments.
- Develop and maintain other process improvements for the Finance team.
