**SPRING ROCK FINANCE - CLIENT ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST**

Spring Rock Finance is seeking a **Client Accounting Specialist** to join their growing team based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.

As a** Client Accounting Specialist**, you'll work directly with senior management to provide top-notch financial expertise and guidance to our clients while seeking opportunities to grow the business. From preparing internal financial statements to building lasting client relationships, you'll wear many hats and tackle exciting challenges.

**What you will be doing**:

- Supporting clients with financial accounting and reporting
- Preparing internal financial statements
- Analyzing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Producing cash flow forecasting models
- Preparing working papers for external year-end accountant
- Managing small accounting teams
- Completing account reconciliations
- Managing regulatory compliance reporting
- Maintaining Capital asset schedules
- Identifying business growth opportunities for Spring Rock Finance
- Building lasting client relationships and understanding clients’ building and understanding of business needs

**What you will bring**:

- Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Business, Commerce, Finance/Accounting, etc.
- Chartered Professional Accountant designation is considered an asset
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience and/or experience in a client-facing environment considered an asset
- Experience using Sage and Quickbooks Online is considered an asset but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of a variety of tools such as Office 365, Google Drive, Zoom, etc.in addition to accounting software
- Entrepreneurial spirit, hardworking, and eager to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with both internal and external stakeholders

This structure is flexible based on individual circumstances and commensurate with qualifications and experience. We believe that reaching 6 figures within the first year of employment is achievable
