**Role description**:
Location: Canada

Purpose: The purpose of the Performance & Rewards Manager, Canada is to provide in-depth specialist Performance & Rewards advice to the business including design, development, and implementation of reward, recognition, and pay strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives. In addition, the role drives the integration of recently acquired businesses into Arcadis.

**Role accountabilities**:
In this role, you drive the local implementation and execution of all reward programs and harmonizations across the different businesses into one unified reward offering in Canada. In this role, you are also looking for further standardization and automation of the reward processes and feeding into the global principles and strategy. You’ll work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure a qualitative analysis of reward elements is undertaken including identification of impact on the business, project, and program management of harmonization and delivery to leaders in the agreed timeframe. By ensuring that our reward structure is fair, modern, and competitive and by building and executing on a standardized harmonization plan that will run smoothly and efficiently.

In more detail:

- Implementing a job framework and connected pay ranges in Canada ensures fairness, transparency, and competitiveness.
- Lead the Annual Compensation Review process for Canada working collaboratively with the business and with the global CoE and lead the integration of current P&R practices into a consistent approach to the Annual compensation review process across Canada considering the local (legal) context ensuring a fair, equitable, and transparent salary process in line with the budget.
- Producing analysis of salary, total compensation, and benefits position against the market and across the business to ensure senior management has the insight to inform decision-making and identification where corrective action may be needed.
- Acting as a point of contact for P&R expert advice and governance on an on-going basis as well as regarding the integration of the new businesses, resolving the most complex of issues, and recommending solutions and best practices and work closely with other People experts in the People Services Team, Strategic Business Partners, and with experts in Legal/Tax /Finance.
- Lead in vendor management of benefit providers ensuring they offer an effective and engaging mix of benefits and efficient services towards for our employees.
- Producing P&R-related communications if needed in the local organization related to the integration activities;
- Oversee and ensure qualitative side-by-side analysis of existing local compensation and benefits plans, policies, and regulations, identify risks and challenges, and ensure efficient operational administrative execution in future years

- Relationship management skills at all levels across the business
