**Position Summary**

**This is a hybrid role located in Ottawa**

Thales requires a **Performance Manager** who will be responsible for the Performance Management Program of Thales’ Non-Combatant In-Service Support programs. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing all aspects of every performance indicator for both contracts.

**Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility**

Specifically, the Performance Manager is responsible for:

- Developing the Performance Management Plan.
- Analysis of the required performance measures (Strategic Performance Measures (SPMs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), System Health Indicators (SHIs)), assessment criteria, and data sources.
- Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting of achieved performance data, including variance analyses and causal analyses.
- Liaising with and providing operational (user) requirements and support to the Performance Management System development team.
- Supporting the roll-out and commissioning of the Performance Management System.
- Leading/coordinating the development of executive briefings.
- Fostering team work in the direct area of responsibility and with other teams across the program, where appropriate.
- Identifying, recommending and implementing performance improvements.
- Championing continual improvement and innovation across all areas of the program.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of staff via staff meetings, written communications and one-on-one communication. Interact and work with management/employees to promote teamwork.

**Minimum Requirements: Skills, Experience, Education, Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Certifications, Language**
- Degree in business administration, or science, engineering or a related field or 3-year diploma program in a related technical field from a recognized university or college or certified by a recognized provincial, state, or federal (national) licensing body in a related field and have a minimum of five years in the last 10 years of demonstrated experience in collecting, analysing and reporting on data; OR
- Minimum of nine years of demonstrated experience in collecting, analysing and reporting on data in the last 15 years.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and analytical abilities.
- A positive and energized attitude.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge and understanding of the Defense Sector.
- Experience across the In-Service Support phases of a project lifecycle.
- Experience working in a complex, multidisciplinary, multi-site organization.
