London, Canada Generate Upcycle Full time

Generate Upcycle is looking for Purchasing Administrator to join our team in London, ON The position will support the Plant Operations and Finance teams with focus and responsibility for the purchasing process. The position is located at the London facility, with some travel to Drumbo, as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provide support in response to requests for maintenance, repair, operations equipment, and services for operations
- Create purchase orders, follow the internal approval process, and deliver PO's to vendors
- Reconciliation of purchase orders in ERP system, and ensure all products arrive in good condition
- Maintain and update vendor information
- Meet with Operations & Finance teams to reconcile PO invoices, and ensure all systems are updated for month-end process
- Provide project level support for Operations/Construction teams
- Partner with Operations to manage inventory, ensuring inventory count is accurate and completed on a regular schedule
- Follow-up with vendors to ensure timely receipt of invoices
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education, Experience & Certifications:

- Experience using Microsoft Office & Business Central
- Experience using Fiix CMMS preferred
- Experience working with different currencies

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Basic accounting knowledge, understanding the difference between capital, inventory and expenses
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Analytical, planning, prioritization, organization, and execution skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a team and individually
- Strong work ethic, with ability to handle confidential information and monetary transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines
- Ability to negotiate, identify problems, and provide solutions

Work Environment
- Indoors and outdoors, in a plant/warehouse setting; will be exposed to weather extremes, odor, and high levels of noise.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
