**Overview**
**We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll and HR Administrator to join our team. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for managing the company’s payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing human resources functions. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of payroll systems, and familiarity with HR processes.**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Payroll Administration**:
**- Process and manage the company’s payroll accurately and on time for all employees.**

**- Ensure payroll data is up-to-date, including timesheets, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits.**

**- Maintain payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.**

**- Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.**

**- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations, ensuring all processes adhere to current standards.**

**HR Administration**:
**- Maintain and update employee records (e.g., new hires, terminations, salary changes).**

**- Assist with the recruiting process for new employees, including background checks and setting up payroll and benefits.**

**- Administer employee benefits programs.**

**- Manage employee leave requests, including vacation, sick leave, and FMLA.**

**- Support performance management processes and handle routine HR inquiries.**

**- Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.**

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.**

**- Experience**:
**- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.**

**- Experience with payroll software Payworks.**

**- Familiarity with labor laws and payroll tax regulations.**

**- Skills**:
**- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.**

**- Excellent organizational and time management skills.**

**- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and payroll/HR software.**

**- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.**

**- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.**
