**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process employee paychecks on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Managing the processing of new hires, terminations and ROEs (including filing ROE’s) to facilitate the creation of payment.
- Monitoring and updating overtime, vacation, personal, and sick time pay outs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including deductions, earnings, and taxes
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including payroll tax laws and wage and hour regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, including questions about paychecks, deductions, and taxes
- Generate and distribute payroll reports to management and other stakeholders
- Assist with year-end reporting, including T4, WCB and EHT processing
- Work collaboratively with HR and other departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in Payroll.
- PCP designation, or working towards PCP designation
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll administration
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
- Experience with Explorer Eclipse Construction Software is highly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Coquitlam, BC V3K 7C1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
