This is a part-time contract position.
**Description**:
The Service Manager will be central to the delivery of all services with a combination of in truck and general supervision. As the lead scheduler, you will be responsible for bringing our customers from the lead stage to execution. As a part-time contract position, you will have the flexibility to complete many tasks on your own time and remotely. The other half of your time you will assist the service delivery process. Working closely with the company owner, you will grow significantly, gain management skills, and receive more responsibility over time. You will become part of a great team on a growing company.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the delivery of all services either in a truck providing service yourself, or by supervising other service teams.
- Supervise the safety plans for all service visits provided by the team.
- Train and monitor all current and new employees in service and safety methods and procedures.
- Be available 8-10 hours per week to oversee all customer communication, send quotes, schedule customers, complete various sales tasks, and follow-up on any customer questions or issues.
- Create and maintain the team schedule on Deputy or any other shift scheduling app as necessary.
- Monitor and approve team shifts ensuring times and breaks are properly recorded.
- Visit customer properties around Metro Vancouver to provide in-person quotes when necessary; with the use of a company provided vehicle.
**Key Experience**:
An understanding of the home service sales cycle, from receiving customer leads all the way to service delivery.
Likewise, an understanding of the service delivery methods for a home service company; from arrival to job completion.
A background working with one or more teammates to deliver any type of home service.
A deep sense of how to explain to, and collaborate with, all different kinds of customers.
Experience with and knowledge of ladders, and a comfort with heights
**Skills and Attributes**:
Excellent customer services skills; great with people
A valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Good natured and motivated to do well in any job
The ability to work efficiently and independently
Problem-solving capabilities
Be a good teammate with the ability to problem solve as a group
