Administrative Assistant, Research and Graduate Studies - CONTRACT (12 Months)
(35 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm)

**Reports to**: Manager, Office of Research Administration

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manages administrative calendar for Dean, Research and Assessment, Director of Graduate Studies and Manager, Office of Research Administration
- Organizes and schedules appointments, meetings and travel arrangements
- Arranges catering, audio-visual needs, and material for meetings and committees
- Prepares slide presentations
- Drafts web content for review and posts to web
- Provides confidential administrative support for the Dean, Research and Assessment, Graduate Education and Research Programs
- Assists in the maintenance of CMCC research project database
- Assists in the scheduling of resident classes
- Responds to inquiries with the ability to handle sensitive situations while maintaining confidentiality
- Transcribes, prepares and edits documents such as general correspondence, reports, mail and budgetary reimbursement requests
- Conducts background research for the Dean, Research and Assessment
- Assists in the promotion of Graduate Studies and Research and Innovation on social media platforms
- Prepares for and takes minutes at meetings
- Keeps tracks of and notifies staff members of deadlines on various work assignments
- Performs other duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Academic
- 2-year College Diploma in a related field

Skills & Knowledge
- A minimum 2 years’ relevant and diverse experience in an administrative/coordinator role, preferably in an educational, healthcare or business environment
- Proficiency with using Learning Management Systems (LMS), website maintenance, online research and video conferencing technologies (Zoom)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
