**About the College**
Toronto Business College is a private career college that has partnered with an Ontario College of Arts and Technology to offer programs to international students in the GTA. Our goal is to provide our students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to thrive in the increasingly dynamic workforce. **Position Summary**
**Administrative Assistant Responsibilities**:
- Preparing, reports, memos, letters, and other documents.
- Taking attendance and accurately recording it in the Learning Management System.
- Filing and retrieving records, documents, and reports.
- Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by directors, committees, and executives.
- Helping prepare for meetings.
- Keeping track of deliverables and submission deadlines in order to ensure timely submissions and compliance.
- Accurately recording minutes from meetings.
- Greeting students and assisting them when possible.
- Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software.
- Reading and analyzing incoming memos, submissions, and distributing them as needed.
- Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing a records database.
- Providing general administrative support.
**Administrative Assistant Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or other relevant administrative support experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite.
- Experience in an educational setting is a definite asset.
- Experience at a Private Career College is a definite asset.
- Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities.
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills.
- Professional, advanced level verbal and written communications skills.
- Professional in appearance and attire
