**What can I expect to do in this role?**: working in a fast-paced, client-service focused team environment, you will assist and support the delivery of the regulatory aspects of MNRF's forestry, fish, wildlife, lands, waters and aggregate programs
- you will play a supporting role in ensuring public safety and sustainable natural resource management through the delivery of various operational programs (e.g. dam operations, inspections, prevention of human and wildlife conflict)
- you will enhance your natural resource management related knowledge by working with colleagues/management, as well as a wide variety of clients including the public, industry representatives and Indigenous peoples
- you will build innovative problem-solving skills to support the delivery of the Ministry's compliance activities

**How do I qualify?**:
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- You have a general understanding of natural resource management and related legislation.
- You are resourceful and have analytical/problem solving skills to review, analyze, and evaluate data to contribute to problem resolution option development.
- You can learn new, technical information, legislation and policies.
- You have good communication skills, both written and verbal, to develop and maintain positive relationships that enable you to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and partners.
- You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- You have planning, coordination and time management skills to support the delivery of ministry programs.
- Knowledge of computer software packages including MS-Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, ARC/Info, to prepare correspondence and report.

**Eligibility**:

- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada;
- Has graduated or will graduate from an approved or legally authorized college or university with a degree, postgraduate certificate or diploma within the last four years;
- Valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver's Licence to travel to rural or remote sites.
- Are not a permanent employee in the Ontario Public Service.
