About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Building Information Modeling (BIM) Specialist to join our team at Component Assembly Systems Inc. As a BIM Specialist, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of BIM technology to enhance our construction and engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Review and analyze blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Design and Develop Sketches: Create and prepare design sketches using industry-standard software to visualize and communicate project ideas.
  • Conduct Quality Control: Examine drawings for errors and inconsistencies, and consult with clients, engineers, and production specialists to establish product requirements.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of BIM technology into our construction and engineering processes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), and Autodesk REVIT.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and a team player.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a hybrid work arrangement. The work language is English, and the work hours are 40 hours per week.
