Office Administrator

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Manage and co-ordinate office repairs / maintenance for the building.
- Play a leading role in maintaining database lists and agreements as required.
- Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices.
- Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing cheques, resolving contracts, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly bank reconciliations and related transactions.
- Health & Safety backup to Treasurer.
- Co-ordinate meetings including booking of meeting rooms and meals.
- Provide reception coverage.
- Other duties include filing, photocopying, binder preparation, faxing, scanning, distributing mail, mailings, ordering office supplies as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Education and Professional Skills/Knowledge**
- Proficient in Office 365.
- Experience with Spire software would be an asset.
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
- Committed to exceptional customer service every day, takes pride in completing routine tasks, organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong mathematical and reasoning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
- Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to multiple requests.
- Willing and able to work quickly and take on more responsibilities over time.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
