Nature of the work:
The principal and customary work of the employee in this employment class consists in performing a variety of administrative duties in accordance with established methods and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Comply with the procedures and instructions regarding exam invigilation
- Greet students, and provide them with all required instructions, rules and regulations which must be respected throughout the test/exam session
- Identify students according to the exam schedule and seating arrangements
- Document all exam issues as well as student start and end times
- Verify that all documents and materials brought into the exam room are required and authorized
- Ensure that the correct copy of the exam is given to the student
- Report any discrepancy vis-à-vis the guidelines
- Provide proper, diligent supervision while students complete evaluations by monitory and circulating the exam room
- Record and report any non-compliance of the rules and regulations
- Assist students in the exam room as needed
- Use computers as required in the accomplishment of tasks assigned
- Escort students to see their teacher for questions or to use the restroom
- Assist in the organization and preparation of tests and exams when needed
- Replace in the exam office when required
- Assist in other areas of Student Services at the request of the supervisor
- Perform any other related tasks

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications:
To have a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in an appropriate specialty or a secondary school diploma (DES) of have a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.

Conditions:

- Intermediate English communication skills (testing may be required)
- Basic conversational French skills (testing may be required)
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills (testing may be required)
- Must be able to maintain department standards with respect to confidentiality of information;
- Must be able to interact effectively with students who have a wide range of special needs;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant changing circumstances;
