Your Team
Narcity Media’s Drive-Thru team, is dedicated to creating impactful brand partnerships. We specialize in launching best-in-class client solutions, driving customer retention, and excelling in pre-sales activities and outbound sales initiatives. If you are passionate about branded content programs and excel in a client-facing role, we are looking for a Business Development Representative Reporting to Drive Thru’s Product Manager to join our dynamic team and help us achieve our goals.

Your Mission
With a focus on driving outbound leads, identifying and researching potential clients, connecting with and educating prospects, and qualifying leads that progress to sales-qualified meetings, you are a self-starter with an eye for fuelling the sales funnel.

As a Business Development Representative, you are the driving force behind our sales pipeline. Your primary mission is to generate qualified sales opportunities for the Drive Thru team, focusing on outbound prospecting and enhancing revenue growth. This role involves close collaboration with our team of Account Managers, ensuring streamlined operations and client satisfaction.

Performance in this role will be measured against specific metrics and KPIs in line with Department goals.

Your Responsibilities
- Outbound Campaigns: Conduct outbound sales and marketing campaigns to generate new business opportunities.
- Nurturing & Account Management: Follow up on outbound leads and nurture dormant accounts to resuscitate interest in Narcity and build high quality relationships. Manage multiple accounts simultaneously during the early stages of the funnel.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with the Accounts and Marketing teams to align on sales strategies, laddering back to our company’s wider goals.
- Reporting: Meet outreach activity goals, maintain CRM records of all leads and/or customer accounts while continually assessing and communicating goal attainment statuses, reporting on quarterly goals.
- Sales Support: Assist with Client Kick-Off Calls (KOC), ensuring a smooth transition to account managers, and contributing to team revenue goals.

Your Qualifications
- A strong understanding of market dynamics particularly Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, and B2B sales is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales - with a successful track record in a BDR capacity.
- Experience in the digital advertising or media industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English. French is an asset.
- Experienced in CRM software (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Collaborative mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong presentation skills.

Position Type & Salary Range
This is a permanent remote position based anywhere in Canada because we are a flexible-first company. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, this role is eligible for a performance-based commission.

**Range**: $55,000 - $65,000 CAD Annually + Commission
