**B2B Tech PR Account Associate (3-5 years experience, remote, PT)**
**Our B2B tech marketing and public relations agency is looking for a part-time PR Account Associate. This role provides support to Sr. PR Account Managers on the day-to-day management of several clients, assisting in the onboarding, coordination and ongoing media/PR work as directed. You will also anticipate and respond to the service needs of the Client Services team to ensure HCI delivers efficient and effective integrated marketing services to clients across multiple channels, verticals, time zones and countries.**

HCI provides B2B tech marketing and public relations services, from developing content and securing press coverage for our clients to defining target buyers and creating lead-generation campaigns. We provide exemplary marketing services that embrace engineering creativity. Client initiatives are handled with care, excellence and industry-focused expertise. As a virtual agency, we work remotely across multiple time zones and languages, within a structure where the needs of clients and staff alike are understood and cared for.
**Responsibilities for this role include**:
- Support Sr. PR Account Manager(s) on multiple accounts in the B2B tech sector, helping clients gain recognition by promoting their brand and technology with relevant press and analysts
- Build and nurture client relationships, ensuring they feel cared for and have confidence that you understand their needs
- Help develop strategies and create/contribute to annual integrated marketing plans to complement client objectives, optimizing each quarter as needed
- Execute the plans on time and on budget, ensuring they are revised as needed while coordinating with other HCI team resources when required
- Work with Sr. PR AM and clients to identify key messages, product/service differentiators, competitors, target markets, etc. and articulate how the client’s solution(s) addresses customer pain points and moves the industry forward
- Maximize the use of research tools and dashboards to analyze and present results, demonstrate return on investment (ROI) and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Write and/or edit press releases, articles, blogs, etc.
- Pitch press releases, contributed articles, and feature ideas to international, national and regional business and trade press
- Secure and schedule interviews with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople and facilitate those meetings where appropriate
- Brainstorm and develop PR strategies with Sr. Account Manager/team
- Work with cross-functional team at HCI to develop integrated campaign ideas
- Attend client events and industry conferences
- Coordinate events as needed
- Review editorial calendars and identify opportunities for clients
- Develop/assist with competitive reviews
- Monitor media coverage, prepare client reports
- Coordinate projects and deadlines; track and communicate status to manager
- Support social media as needed

- Has strong writing skills and can create written materials and edit the work of others. You understand how to optimize a press release for SEO and can craft compelling pitches and engaging social media posts
- Manages multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, never letting details slip through the crack, and delivering all work by the deadline
- Possesses exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, and shows an ability to streamline and multitask
- Can jump in and have an immediate impact
- Works well with all levels/roles on your team; you’re also able to work independently and be highly productive
- Genuinely cares about clients and colleagues and is committed to growing those relationships
- Proactively and responsibly keeps your manager/team apprised of project status and brings issues to the forefront if challenges with timing, client, resources, etc.
