**JOB RESPONSABILITIES**
The Facilities or Equipment Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support in the planning of machinery acquisition and maintenance for the projects.
**The Facility Coordinator key responsibilities are**:
- Assist in coordinating procurement processes, including preparation of specifications and supply schedules, vendor communication, and contract management.
- Support the identification and evaluation of vendors for heavy machinery and equipment. Aid in preparing purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Track and manage inventory levels of equipment and parts, ensuring availability for project needs.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment specifications, warranties, and maintenance logs.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, vendors, and management regarding equipment status and needs.
**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Experience in machinery and equipment coordination, ideally within civil engineering or construction projects.
- Proficient in computer tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Office Suite).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Familiarity with Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) and tunnel construction projects.
- Technical knowledge of machinery used in heavy civil infrastructure.
- English written and spoken is required.
- Proficiency in multiple languages (Spanish, English, and French) is a plus.
