As an integral member of our team, our new Estimator should be a motivated individual who is committed to growing their professional career while gaining valuable knowledge and experience through a variety of assignments.
**We are an epoxy flooring subtrade and as such have a much simpler estimation process than a general contractor**
**The qualified individual should be experienced and comfortable with the sales process; winning clients and retaining them. You will be primarily selling the installation of floors and distribution of epoxy product.**
**Responsibilities**
You will play a pivotal role in COAT’s continued success as an industry leader. As such you will:
- Perform complete estimates for projects. We will be giving you a sales schedule and it is your duty to go out and meet the client.
- Follow all established estimating procedures and methods for staff to use in the preparation of estimates
- Professionally hand-over estimates and support on projects as necessary, including developing change order pricing
- Develop and maintain relationships with all clients and stakeholders, for price advantages
- Identify risks/opportunities associated with contract/project documents and execution strategies, and propose mitigations and cost savings
- Analyze, understand, and incorporate project-specific requirements, site, schedule, and market conditions/constraints into estimates
- Win new clients based on an existing list of warm leads. This may be related to installation or distribution of epoxy product.
**Qualifications / Requirements / Knowledge**
3+ years of experience in a **Sales ** role is considered an asset
- Background or prior role in **Sales**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
- Robust and confident negotiation skills
- Semi-frequent travel to perform site walkthroughs, estimations and meet clients
- Drivers license and Vehicle is required

COAT Systems Inc is an epoxy flooring company based in Southern Ontario. We specialize in the installation and distribution of floor coatings. As a project-based company our capacity fluctuates with demand.
Over the last 5 years we have grown to become the largest epoxy flooring contractor in the Greater Toronto Area. We are now looking to expand outwards across Ontario and would like to onboard a team member that shares that vision.
Ambitious Go-getters are preferred. We are also fashioned towards scalability and innovation and look forward to onboarding personnel with these same objectives.
