Event Planning Specialist

At Intellectual Property Ontario, we are a new provincial agency dedicated to providing expertise and resources for intellectual property management. Our goal is to help researchers and companies maximize the value of their IP and strengthen their capacity to compete in the global market.
We are seeking an Event Planning Specialist to join our team, responsible for coordinating our presence at external events and executing our own events efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have up to 1 year of experience in event coordination, both in-person and virtual, and possess excellent stakeholder relationship management skills. They will also be familiar with tools like Eventbrite, Zoom, and PowerPoint.
This role offers a competitive annual salary range of $55,800 - $75,487, plus benefits and pension.
As an Event Planning Specialist, you will work closely with our Communications Team to create event materials, manage logistics, and ensure successful event execution.
You will also collaborate with our Brand Marketing Advisor on branding strategies to promote events effectively.
In this hybrid role, you will attend virtual and in-person events across Ontario, travel as required, and transport event materials.
