**Role**
Coordinate all payroll and HR related tasks.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare internal job postings for open positions
- Place job ads on-line
- Pre-screen CV's
- Conduct phone interview
- Schedule interviews for the Managers
- Prepare New Hire Documents
- Onboard new employees
- Ensure all new employee hire documentation is received
- Prepare new rep letters
- Maintain employee guarantee file
- Maintain sexual harassment file
- Enter new employees into payroll system (Canada/USA)
- Process Head office and Plattsburgh warehouse payroll
- Process 3 commission payrolls
- Prepare payroll journal entries for 5 companies
- Maintain USA employee absenteeism file
- VRSP Data entry (in Excel)
- Maintain FTE headcount file
- Maintain Hartford audit file
- Monitor employees coming due for health insurance (Canada)
- Enroll employees for health insurance (Canada)
- Conduct exit interviews
- Maintain exit interview database
- Prepare vacation calendars
- Maintain vacation owing file
- Calculate vacation adjustments on bi-weekly basis
- Attend Health and Safety meetings and prepare minutes of meetings
- Maintain work from home file (hybrid contracts and photo of workstations)
- Verify First Aid Kit
- Evaluate ergonomics
- Respond to employee questions
- Work on special projects
- Assist in the preparation of various social activities
- Prepare letters confirming employment/insurance coverage
- Ensure all performance evaluations are submitted during annual review period
- Keep phone extension list up to date
- Prepare birthday lists
- Filing
- Other related tasks
- Speak, write and read fluent French and English.
- Minimum CEGEP completed (certificate in HR)
- Knowledge of Quebec Labor Standards
- Knowledge of USA labor standards (an asset)
- Payroll Knowledge (ADP WorkForce Now )
- Two years of experience in HR and payroll
- Strong attention to detail

- Coordonner le processus de renouvellement d'assurance aux États-Unis
- Faire un suivi sur les employés qui sont dû pour les assurances collectives (Canada & États-Unis)
- Adhésion aux assurances collectives
- Faire l’adhésion au assurances collectives pour les employés (Canada & États-Unis)
- Maintenir le ficher d’absentéisme pour les employés d’États-Unis
- Aider aux préparations d’évènements sociales
- Maintien ficher de formation
- Entrée des données RVER (en Excel)
- Traiter la paie pour les 5 entreprises
- Préparer les écritures de journal de paie pour 5 entreprises
- Maintenir le dossier de vérification Hartford
- Assurer que toutes les évaluations sont soumises au cours de la période d’évaluation de performance annuel
- Garder la liste des postes à jour
- Classification des dossiers
- Travailler sur des projets spéciaux
- Effectuer toutes autres taches connexes
- Parler, écrire et lire couramment le français et anglais.
- Études niveaux collégiales (certificat en ressources humaines)
- Connaissance des lois du travail - Québec (un atout)
- Connaissance de la paie (système ADP WorkForce Now)
- Deux ans d’expérience en RH & la paie
- Souci aux détails
