If so, you might be the perfect fit to join our close-knit team as a Bilingual Claims Analyst

As a Claims Analyst, you will be able to contribute to the company's growth by effectively and proactively managing a fluctuating caseload of new and ongoing life and disability claims. You will be assessing claims and making challenging decisions by following policy guidelines which the client may challenge.

**On a day-to-day basis, you will**:

- Assess disability and life claims and determine eligibility for benefits while considering medical information, certificate of insurance provisions and the collection of additional information in order to make an informed decision;
- Actively and proactively manage claims and make use of all available resources as well as collaborate with medical consultants as needed;
- Participate in meetings to discuss claims services and practices;
- Analyze, evaluate and make decisions on claims through discretionary decision making and utilizing your excellent verbal and written skills.

**What do I need in order to succeed in this role?**
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience in claims, insurance, financial services or relevant experience in the health field,
- College diploma or undergraduate degree or equivalent
- Fluency in French both written and verbal communication
- Critical thinking, analysis and decision-making ability
- Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- A customer focused approach and the ability to deal effectively with customers who may be under stress.

**What would be a nice to have but not required**:

- LOMA level 1 and CSI, ICA 1&3 (an asset)
- Medical knowledge

**Compensation**:

- The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,00 and $75,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on skills, job-related knowledge, experience, and internal equity. All permanent employees of iA are also entitled to an annual bonus._
- At iA, we are committed to a market-based and equitable compensation structure. Our market data is refreshed on an annual basis to reflect the most current market conditions._
