**Claims Analyst - Pricing**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Analysis**: Collect, validate, and analyze claims and operational data to identify trends that impact financial performance, risk management, and strategic decisions.
- **Liability Estimation**: Assist with estimating liabilities by identifying emerging trends early and developing forecasts based on available data.
- **Pricing Insights**: Provide data insights that inform pricing strategies by identifying key information not captured in traditional reporting metrics.
- **Reporting**: Generate regular reports to track claims trends and performance. Collaborate with teams to explain deviations from expectations and identify root causes.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., customer service, operations) to ensure the effective use of data for process optimization and business decisions.
- **Process Improvement**: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending strategies to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, or SAS) and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with large datasets and databases (SQL is preferred).
- Understanding of business operations and data-driven decision-making principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field..

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related analytical role.
