Currently, our rapidly expanding team and site network is looking for a **Community Engagement Coordinator** **who can work for us on a** full-time, hybrid basis**, supporting us in **Toronto, Canada**.

POSITION FUNCTION

The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for all community outreach initiatives in order to recruit high quality patients in accordance with Centricity Research recruitment guidelines. The Community Engagement Coordinator will build strong relationships with community partners and will demonstrate knowledge of protocols including inclusion/exclusion criteria, medications and medical diseases that coincide with research conducted at Centricity Research.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Work on enrollment and retention initiatives with Community Engagement Manager
- Problem solve and create contingency plans to optimize enrollment via recruitment initiatives
- Create and maintain relationships with community partners
- Promote clinical trials in the community through outreach events
- Regularly plan and facilitate community events, i.e. lectures, health fairs or events to promote Centricity Research, coordinating employee volunteers
- Accurately complete recruitment tracking log and all applicable clinical trial management systems
- Provide study metrics on a regular basis and provide ongoing feedback regarding outcome of recruitment initiatives
- Assist the Community Engagement Manager, Research Operations and/or Investigators with any other tasks as required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

**Minimum**:

- 2 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or Event Planning
- Basic knowledge of medical conditions and terminology

**Preferred**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Business Administration, or Marketing

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Physical demands include but not limited to prolonged sitting, light lifting, standing, reaching, walking, and bending.
- Frequently required to complete work on the computer in a seated position
- May be required to lift light boxes (10 - 20lbs)
- May be required to spend extended hours in a vehicle

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Modern medical office environment or home environment
- Required to follow all healthcare industry OHSA and OSHA guidelines
- Required to perform duties in relation to PHIPA, HIPAA, PIDEDA
- Some positions may require overnight/weekend hours
- Some availability for travel may be necessary
