**Profile**

As the Business Development Manager-International Sales, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our end-to-end global growth strategy for Canada. Your role will involve steering key client initiatives to enhance our international sales and brand reputation, driving accelerated business expansion through compelling go-to-market strategies, and fostering relationships to align with our strategic plan. You will work closely with senior partners and stakeholders to align business development efforts with overarching organizational goals and facilitate high-impact projects that support the firm's global objectives.

**Strategic Leadership**:

- Act as a senior business development and marketing advisor to client teams and key stakeholders, providing a strategic lens, data-backed insights and proactive recommendations to drive accelerated international growth.
- Develop, support and activate comprehensive business development and marketing strategies with a focus on international client expansion, acquisition and retention, in addition to enhanced brand presence.
- Align initiatives with International Board priorities and Firm-wide strategic goals in measurable and differentiated ways.

**Business Development**:

- Build, implement and own the international business development and marketing plan, in collaboration with other international constituents and key stakeholders to drive Canada’s revenue growth in international markets through strategic and focused business, sales and go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful activation, ongoing management, and measurement.
- Design and lead account-based marketing strategies to capture and expand market share.
- Oversee global key client accounts, ensuring high-level satisfaction and business growth.
- Identify, recommend and pursue strategic relationships with legal networks, associations and key external stakeholder groups to enhance business development opportunities through relationships and engagement in priority global conferences and events.
- Enable effective collaboration across markets, practice groups, and sectors to share ideas, successful strategies and information.
- Work closely with other business development managers and marketing teams to build, enable and direct best-in-class growth initiatives effectively and efficiently.
- Track progress to plan, and continuously measure and improve sales processes and reporting systems.
- Lead RFP pitches and proposals, coordinating with professionals on content and deadlines, and providing strategic direction.

**Business Growth**:

- Conduct market research and provide actionable insights to support the International Board’s growth priorities.
- Manage client growth projects end-to-end, including research, analysis, vendor relations, and stakeholder consultations, ensuring alignment with firm goals, activation, reporting and follow-up.
- Develop and standardize approaches to business and client growth projects, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across initiatives with a focus on continuous innovation and improvement.
- Engage directly with the International Board and senior management to present business cases and recommendations.

**Collaterals and External Relations**:

- Create compelling marketing campaigns and sales materials to support client initiatives, including print, online, slideware and more, with the ability to communicate a clear vision and oversee the development and maintenance of outputs.

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education with a focus on business, international business and/or marketing; MBA or Master’s degree an asset.
- At least seven years of B2B experience in business development and/or marketing, preferably within a professional services or legal environmen
