**We are looking for a confident Account Receivable Coordinator to join our growing team.** Fastening House specializes in providing electrical, mechanical, and general contractors with the products, tools, construction supplies and equipment they need - when they need it. As a proudly Canadian service provider to the construction industry, we are committed to supplying customers in Ontario and throughout Canada, with the construction materials and expert support, they depend on.
**Job Summary**
An **AR coordinator** is a crucial part of the Fastening House business model. Our ability to maintain quality relationships with our customer accounting teams insures open communication and prompt payment.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Resolving payment discrepancies (short payments, skipped invoices, debits and credits)
- Reconciling accounts
- Collect data for audit purposes.
- Daily invoicing and invoicing customer credits (stock returns and pricing corrections)
- Processing credit card payments
- Create monthly accounts receivable projection reports.
- Update daily AR balances.
- Resolve credit hold matters.
- Resolve aging balances.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer staff
- Ensure all customer contact information is up to date.
- File accounts for collections/ legal proceedings
**Qualifications**:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelors in business/ accounting is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a must.
- Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience (or the like)
- Strong verbal and writing skills (fluency in English is a must)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word skills
- Ability to rapidly learn new programs is a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the construction/ warehousing field is an asset
- Strong problem solving skills
- Hunger and drive bring forth efficiencies.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, and on your own.
- Attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent time management, and organizational skills
- Passion for personal and professional development
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
