Billing and Accounts Receivable Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in accounts receivable processes.
**Duties**:
- Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling discrepancies in a timely manner
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Generate invoices and statements for customers
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue payments
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing or payment-related inquiries
- Perform account analysis to identify trends and potential issues
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Assist with data entry tasks related to accounts receivable and accounts payable
**Experience**:
- Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with QuickBooks
- Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Ability to analyze accounts and identify discrepancies
