Office and Accounting Administrator

iN4Structure Ltd. has earned an outstanding reputation in the construction and management of infrastructure projects. We are an experienced sewer & watermain contractor with projects that include residential and industrial subdivisions as well as road reconstruction. We are currently seeking an Part-Time Office and Accounting Administrator to join our team. We want a team player who has a desire to make a difference and takes pride in their work.
This role allows a flexible work schedule (Great for working parents)
**The role and responsibilities**:
**Office and Administration**
- Phone answering and greet visitors
- Maintain Office and supplies
- Mail checking and distribution
- Arrange courier for cheque pick up
**Accounts Payable**
- Matching, price checking and processing of vendor invoices
- Reconciliation of vendor statements with company payable records and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare expense reports
- Preparation of monthly cheque runs, and EFT payments
- Serve as the main contact person for correspondence with vendors
**Invoicing**
- Creating Invoices, credit memos / debit memos
**Payroll**
- Back up for Payroll
**Executive Assistance to the President**
**Other Duties as assigned**
**Required Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of accounting experience in a high-volume AP environment is preferred
- Experience in the construction industry, including construction billings, percentage of completion accounting and holdbacks is an asset
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good organizational skills along with good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and multitasking skills
- Ability to meet deadlines through effective time management and planning
- Experience with Sage50 accounting software is an asset
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on excel.
