Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

At Canadian Motor Freight Ltd., we are seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they are effective and efficient.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including maintaining inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures.

Experience:

Previous experience in an administrative role is an asset. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of office procedures and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
