Administrative Assistant

We currently have an excellent opportunity for an administrative assistant (temporary to permanent). The Administrative Assistant is also accountable for drafting, reviewing and editing time-sensitive correspondence sent by the management team. Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
- Provide administrative support to all departmental members.
- Perform basic bookkeeping functions.
- Coordinate departmental office activities.
- Review, evaluate and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Maintain daily appointments of all management and executive members.
- Maintain a professional image and demeanor with all employees, management, and executives
- Research and assist with all Requests for Proposals (RFP).
- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 1 year experience as administrative assistant or equivalent
- Secondary School Diploma required
- Proficient use of various office based software including Microsoft Office
- Strong Microsoft Excel Knowledge (Pivot tables, formulas)
- Strong Microsoft Word Knowledge
Rate of Pay: $19/hour
**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
