Experienced Paid Media Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Paid Media Specialist to join our marketing team.
The right person for this role will have a passion for digital marketing with a desire to work within both Google Ads and Meta Business Manager. They are a strong communicator and team player who is passionate about learning and growing in the field of digital marketing. Preference will be given to applicants with at least 6 months of Google ads experience.

**About You**:
Your background is in digital marketing with a specific interest in paid search marketing. You have the drive and desire to continue to develop your skills in a professional environment. You work well both in a team and independently, are open to feedback and have keen attention to detail. You have an understanding of how to track success in digital marketing with experience in Google Ads or Meta Business Manager and Google Analytics.
We find that the most successful individuals in this role are continually challenging their knowledge by asking questions of their managers and strategists.
**The right person for this role has the following must-haves**:
- 6+ months of experience working on digital marketing campaigns. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate experience in managing Google Ads campaigns.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Expertise in Google Analytics & one of Google Ads or Meta Business Manager, with experience in reporting on KPIs from those platforms.
- An analytical and strategic mindset - committed to doing what is right by our clients.
**The following attributes would be assets for this role**:
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in marketing.
- Experience in an agency environment.
- Experience using Asana, Slack, Confluence or Basecamp.
- Experience communicating with clients.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Assist Department Heads, Account Directors, and Senior Strategists in the day-to-day management of accounts;
- Set up and manage Google Ads campaigns (PPC). You may also be given experience in Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Microsoft ad campaigns;
- Write detailed monthly reports;
- Identify the potential for new campaign strategies and communicate to seniors;
- Be able to provide planned context on client calls and in client communication; and
- Maintain an up-to-date task list independently with limited manager oversight.
