L’analyste financier(ère) a la responsabilité d’effectuer des analyses financières lors de la préparation des états financiers, des budgets et des prévisions, de veiller au respect des normes internationales d’information financière (IFRS), de s’assurer de la vraisemblance des soldes de comptes, de préparer et de vérifier les ajustements et les écritures de régularisation dans le journal, de préparer les rapports requis pour les examens de fin de mois et de fin de trimestre, les audits de fin d’exercice et les présentations budgétaires, et d’analyser et de vérifier les causes des écarts entre les dépenses réelles et prévues et d’effectuer des analyses de compte ponctuelles.

Responsabilités principales
- Effectuer des analyses financières ainsi que la vérification, le traitement et l’affichage des écritures de journal dans le grand livre, y compris les rajustements, les régularisations, les renversements et les écritures récurrentes.
- Veiller à la vraisemblance des soldes de comptes. Analyser, examiner, vérifier, surveiller et suivre de près les opérations financières pour les dépenses de fonctionnement et d’immobilisations et les renseignements sur la dotation, y compris l’extraction de données sur les groupes depuis le système de budgétisation et de prévision.
- Analyser les écarts mensuels entre les dépenses réelles et prévues.
- Préparer des rapports financiers mensuels à l’intention de l’équipe de la haute direction.
- Fournir des orientations, des conseils et du soutien aux groupes en matière de budgétisation et de prévision, et répondre aux demandes financières liées à la prise de décisions d’affaires.
- Préparer le regroupement des analyses d’écarts pour appuyer les entrées effectuées par les groupes en ce qui a trait aux rapports financiers du Comité exécutif de gestion (CEG) et du Conseil d’administration, ou participer à ces tâches.
- Entreprendre les projets spéciaux qui lui sont confiés ou y participer (p. ex. analyse comparative, analyse des processus d’affaires, analyse des coûts).
- Collaborer avec les gestionnaires de projet du groupe Technologies au transfert en temps opportun des projets terminés aux immobilisations.
- Regrouper et synthétiser les prévisions budgétaires et les budgets des groupes pour contribuer à l’élaboration des budgets, des plans financiers et des présentations de NAV CANADA à l’intention du CEG et du Conseil d’administration.
- Préparer des rapports périodiques et ponctuels ainsi que des rapports annuels sur le budget et répondre aux demandes des groupes et du (de la) contrôleur(euse) la Société en matière de renseignements et de rapports.
- Bâtir une solide compréhension du plan d’affaires de NAV CANADA, de la délégation des pouvoirs financiers, des processus de budgétisation et d’établissement des prévisions, et des politiques et des procédures comptables.

Formation
- Baccalauréat d’une université reconnue ou diplôme d’un collège reconnu avec une spécialisation acceptable en commerce, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Une accréditation d’une association de comptables professionnels (p. ex. CPA) est considérée comme un atout.

Expérience
- Plus de cinq (5) ans d’expérience pertinente dans le domaine de la comptabilité et de l’analyse financière.
- Expérience de l’analyse financière et du traitement d’une grande quantité de données. Excellentes compétences en informatique, particulièrement avec Excel, et aptitude à présenter de l’information complexe de façon claire et concise.

Connaissances
- Connaissance de la comptabilité des dépenses de fonctionnement et d’immobilisations conformément aux IFRS, de l’analyse financière, des processus de budgétisation et d’établissement des prévisions, ainsi que des politiques, des processus et/ou des procédures en matière d’administration financière.
- Connaissance des méthodes et des techniques de recherche, de collecte, de validation, de vérification et d’analyse de données pour l’établissement des systèmes de contrôle et de rapports financiers.
- Connaissance des méthodes et des techniques de présentation, de consultation et de rédaction, et de l’utilisation de divers logiciels, outils et systèmes automatisés pour accomplir les tâches.

Aptitudes
- Aptitude à communiquer efficacement, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, et à fournir des services de consultation et une aide concrète à un groupe de clients.
