L’analyste financier(ère) est responsable des états financiers consolidés externes et du Rapport de gestion de la Société. Il (elle) doit également consolider le budget annuel, y compris l’établissement d’un plan financier pluriannuel et de prévisions, et contribuer à la préparation des rapports destinés à la haute direction et au Conseil d’administration. L’analyse financier(ère) supervise la comptabilité quotidienne de certaines transactions ou de certains comptes assignés à l’échelle de la Société, prend des décisions sur la manière de présenter et d’expliquer les résultats financiers et est chargé(e) de cerner les points faibles et de suivre les tendances ou les questions qui préoccupent la haute direction. Il (elle) veille à ce que les politiques de la Société en matière de comptabilité financière demeurent en vigueur et à ce que les rapports financiers soient conformes aux principes comptables généralement reconnus (PCGR), aux exigences des Autorités canadiennes en valeurs mobilières (ACVM) en matière de divulgation et aux politiques de la Société en matière de comptabilité financière, tout en assurant leur conformité aux contrôles internes sur les rapports financiers sous la responsabilité du groupe Rapports de l’entreprise.

Description du poste

Responsabilités principales:

- Préparer les états financiers consolidés externes et le Rapport de gestion conformément aux PCGR et aux exigences des ACVM, en s’appuyant sur l’analyse et les renseignements fournis par d’autres groupes des Finances.
- Contribuer à la coordination et à la préparation des entrées dans le registre, des rapprochements financiers et des analyses appuyant les rapports financiers internes, l’examen trimestriel et l’audit de fin d’année des états financiers de la Société réalisés par des auditeurs externes.
- Cerner les lacunes et les anomalies, élaborer des options et recommander la mise en œuvre de solutions aux écarts et aux rapprochements comptables pour assurer une gestion financière, une assurance de la qualité et une production de rapports strictes.
- Préparer des budgets et des prévisions pour les comptes et les transactions assignés à l’échelle de la Société et la consolidation du budget annuel, y compris en établissant un plan financier pluriannuel et des prévisions. Collaborer avec d’autres groupes des Finances à l’élaboration de rapports et à l’analyse des données. Aider à fournir à la haute direction et au Conseil d’administration des rapports budgétaires et prévisionnels consolidés précis, complets et opportuns.
- Tenir à jour l’ensemble des politiques de comptabilité financière de la Société et veiller au respect des PCGR. Se tenir au courant des nouveaux PCGR et des nouvelles exigences des ACVM en matière de divulgation et fournir en temps utile à la haute direction et au Conseil d’administration une analyse des incidences des changements pertinents.
- Cerner, rechercher et fournir des recommandations de traitements comptables pour des transactions comptables complexes qui garantissent le respect des PCGR et des politiques de la Société. Cela implique notamment de conseiller et de soutenir les groupes ainsi que les autres analystes financiers et groupes des Finances sur des questions liées à la comptabilité ou aux rapports.
- Assurer la gestion quotidienne de l’outil de communication de l’information financière, y compris la recommandation d’améliorations et la participation à des essais lors de la mise en œuvre d’améliorations ou de mises à niveau.
- Collaborer avec le groupe Opérations de comptabilité à la gestion quotidienne des systèmes de comptabilité financière et de budgétisation (y compris iPlan et le modèle des états financiers), notamment en recommandant des améliorations et en participant aux essais lors de la mise en œuvre d’améliorations ou de mises à niveau et en déterminant les incidences sur les systèmes et les rapports financiers connexes.
- Fournir un soutien supplémentaire, y compris des analyses ponctuelles, au (à la) contrôleur(euse) de l’entreprise et aux directeurs, Finances, selon les besoins du (de la)
