The Junior Property Manager will fill a full-time entry-level position and will be responsible for the operational management of an assigned portfolio of buildings in Montreal, under the direction of a senior property manager.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Weekly building inspections and following up on all problems identified in a timely manner.
- Overseeing preventative and unscheduled maintenance and repairs of building systems (i.e. elevators, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, electrical, fire protection systems, pool equipment, gym equipment, etc.)
- Ensuring that problems are solved in an effective manner with a high degree of communication.
- Providing timely and meticulous reports regarding any operational issues.
- Establishing and maintaining good relations with all buildings residents, and promptly replying to their service requests.
- Ensuring all building rules and regulations are respected.
- Ensuring the safety of the property and that all necessary professional inspections and tests are performed.
- Coordination, supervision and follow-up with trade professionals such as electricians, plumbers, carpenters, landscapers, etc.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
- A post-secondary education, preferably but not necessarily a bachelor of commerce with a major related to management.
- A passion for real estate

- Strong time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple demands and equally important priorities
- Ability to move quickly in emergency situations and provide moderate physical effort when needed.
- Professionalism and courteousness
- Real estate experience an asset, but not a requirement.

Job requirements:

- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken
- A valid driver's license and access to a car
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft office
- A flexible schedule if emergencies arise outside of business hours

Le Gestionnaire Immobilier Junior comblera un poste de niveau débutant à temps plein et sera responsable de la gestion opérationnelle d’un portefeuille d’immeubles à Montréal, sous la direction du gestionnaire immobilier senior.

Les responsabilités incluent notamment:

- Inspections hebdomadaires des bâtiments et le suivi rapide de tous problèmes identifiés
- Gérer l'entretien préventif ainsi qu’extraordinaire, et les réparations des systèmes des immeubles (ventilation, ascenseurs, mécanique, plomberie, éclairage, électrique, protection-incendie, équipements de piscine, équipements sportifs, etc.)
- Veiller à ce que les problèmes sont résolus rapidement et de manière efficace avec un haut niveau de communication
- Fournir des rapports méticuleux en temps opportun concernant les questions opérationnelles.
- Établir et maintenir de bonnes relations avec tous les résidents et répondre rapidement à leurs demandes de service
- Assurer que tous les règlements de l’immeuble sont respectés
- Assurer la sécurité de l’immeuble et du terrain et veiller à ce que tous les tests et inspections professionnels nécessaires soient effectués
- Coordonner, superviser et faire un suivi avec les sous-traitants, tels que les électriciens, plombiers, charpentiers, paysagistes, etc.
- Autres tâches et projets spéciaux, au besoin
- Une éducation postsecondaire, de préférence un baccalauréat en commerce en rapport avec la gestion
- Une passion pour l'immobilier
- Une forte aptitude à communiquer clairement de façon orale et écrite
