The person will participate in all aspects of the day to day functioning of a busy commercial real estate company, including:

- Collection of tenant rents as required
- Review of leases to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Co-ordination of the maintenance and repair of a portfolio of commercial properties, observing budget guidelines and restrictions
- Maintain a presence at each property and familiarity with each tenant
- Deal with all suppliers including the sourcing of new ones as required
- Report to management on the status of each property
- Ensure property compliance with any and all applicable laws and by-laws
- Assist in accounting efforts related to each property as required
- Perform regular site and tenant inspections
- Respond to tenant requests for service and emergencies
- Supervision of maintenance staff
- Review payables to ensure accuracy and completeness and approve for payment
- Property management experience of at least 5 years
- Must quickly respond to tenant requests and needs
- Must be able to respond to emergencies as required
- Must be able to work independently as well as with others
- Must be organized and able to keep track of a high level of information and follow up
- Must be proactive and take initiative
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision
- Must be able to prioritize tasks and change directions with a moments’ notice
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with computer software, especially Excel, Word, Outlook
- English and French proficiency, both oral and written

Responsabilités

La personne participera à tous les aspects du fonctionnement quotidien d'une société immobilière commerciale très active, notamment:

- Collecte des loyers des locataires selon les besoins
- Examen des baux pour garantir leur exactitude et leur exhaustivité
- Coordination de l'entretien et de la réparation d'un portefeuille de propriétés commerciales, dans le respect des directives et restrictions budgétaires
- Maintenir une présence sur chaque propriété et une familiarité avec chaque locataire
- Traiter avec tous les fournisseurs, y compris l'approvisionnement en nouveaux, si nécessaire
- Rapport à la direction sur l'état de chaque propriété
- Assurer la conformité de la propriété à toutes les lois et règlements applicables
- Aider aux efforts comptables liés à chaque propriété, au besoin
- Effectuer des inspections régulières du site et des locataires
- Répondre aux demandes de service et aux urgences des locataires
- Supervision du personnel de maintenance
- Examiner les comptes créditeurs pour garantir leur exactitude et leur exhaustivité et approuver le paiement

Qualifications/Compétences
- Expérience en gestion immobilière d'au moins 5 ans
- Doit répondre rapidement aux demandes et aux besoins des locataires
- Doit être en mesure de répondre aux urgences selon les besoins
- Doit être capable de travailler de manière indépendante ainsi qu'avec les autres
- Doit être organisé et capable de garder une trace d'un haut niveau d'information et de suivi
- Doit être proactif et prendre des initiatives
- Doit être capable de travailler avec un minimum de supervision
- Doit être capable de prioriser les tâches et de changer de direction avec un préavis de quelques instants
- Doit être capable de respecter les délais dans un environnement en évolution rapide
- Maîtrise des logiciels informatiques, notamment Excel, Word, Outlook
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit
